The blog gardener

Just got back from the gym. I love lifting weights. It’s like meditation to me.

Running, on the other hand, I just can’t do it. No matter how many benefits I hear about. I get exhausted, and not in a good way, just by hearing the word.

Now I’m sitting at a café writing this, and then I’ll do some coding. Feeling excited about bringing my ideas to life.

If motivation were strategy and cleverness, my blog archive would be very thin and the Bear library wouldn’t exist. No themes, no add-ons, no fun. Eventually, this whole blog would probably end up in the trash.

Getting inspired by other bloggers is a wonderful way to make creativity bloom, but it can also make us wither. We can get “too inspired”, copying other people’s workflows and writing routines.

But we’re all different. That’s the beauty of life. We have to tend to our own blog garden based on the seeds we sow, not what our neighbor is growing.

Some plants grow fast, others very slowly. Some trees grow tall, others stay small. Some flowers need watering every day, others once a week.

You’re your own blog gardener. Only you know how to keep your garden blooming.
