Finding the flow and keeping it

I did my first house inspection in three months today.

It was with a slight feeling of unease that I knocked at the first client’s door. I almost felt like a rookie during the first two inspections. The third felt a little better, but the usual flow was still missing, which made everything take much longer.

It’s always like that when I come back after a break. And it doesn’t have to be three months. It’s pretty much the same after three weeks.

I’m sure many can relate. Things get harder when we don't do them regularly, no matter if it's work-related or not.

Let’s try another version.

It was with a slight feeling of unease that I opened the blog editor. I almost felt like a rookie writing the first two paragraphs. The third felt a little better, but the usual flow was still missing, which made everything take much longer.

Just as true, so post regularly.
