Keep walking

Today I got a notification that my "year in music" playlist had been updated. I scrolled down and saw all the years lined up. It was a joyful walk down memory lane, looking back at my music history.

Yesterday I released the CalenBear add-on. When I look at my own blog calendar, even though many posts are still missing, I can hardly believe it's my own blog history. It makes me a bit proud, to be honest.

I've done over seven thousand house inspections. I've marked each visit in the maps app, and it's quite a mind-boggling experience when hitting the "saved places" button. Sometimes I visit houses I've been to before that now have a new owner, which adds even more to the history of it all.

It's only lately I've come to appreciate having a history at hand. I wouldn't say I'm nostalgic, rather nowstalgic, but there's a certain beauty in seeing the now in the context of the past.

Looking back, we realize we've come quite far on our journey through life.

Let's keep walking, stay curious, and never stop caring.
