Serious mistakes
I liked school when I was a kid. I did well, and I even enjoyed some of the homework. Learning new stuff.
That changed during the last couple of years. I didn’t like it the way I used to, and it showed in my exam results.
Why? Grades.
It all became too serious. Instead of learning out of curiosity, it turned into a means to an end.
The joy was gone.
I’ve experienced similar things later in life too. Hobbies that turned into my main source of income.
Money in, joy out.
These days I’m more careful about my hobbies.
I don’t want to make another serious mistake.
